Clive Owen back at Electric Palace for film gala
Hollywood A-lister Clive Owen will be at a special gala screening of classic movie The Private Lives of Elizabeth and Essex this Friday, August 12 at Harwich's Electric Palace Theatre.
The screening is in celebration of the 450th anniversary of the visit to Harwich in 1561 of Queen Elizabeth I and Clive, who lives in nearby Wrabness and is a patron of the historic cinema, will be introducing it.
The 1939 movie was directed by Michael Curtiz and stars Bette Davis and Errol Flynn. The evening starts at 7pm and tickets are £8 on 07786 744789 or at boxoffice@electric palace.com
