So, what did you think? I enjoyed it. Everyone showed up, didn't they? Even the reclusive Johnny Depp,
looking uncomfortable up there. My fav? Ricky Gervais presenting with a glass in his hand and Tina Fey's Golden Globe members action figures.

I was very surprised that Kate Winslet received two GG's. I don't recall if that's ever happened before.
I haven't seen Revolutionary Road, but watched The Reader last week with friends. We felt that she was absolutely superb, underplaying a complex role with a deft touch and no histrionics or ego.

I was very happy Colin Farrell won. In Bruges was a great movie. I have to say Brendan Gleeson deserves alot of credit for that movie to, he is a wonderful
actor. Colin was lookin good, glad he cut the long hair.

I was really happy for Kate Winslet. Loved her gown as well. Liked the heartfelt acceptance speeches from Colin Farrell and Mickey
Roarke.

I was expecting Sean Penn to win, and hoping for Brad Pitt. I doubt I will see the Wrestler. Life is too short for disgusting movies 2009: Tracking Food, Exercise & Money

Ricky Gervais was hilarious! Why hasn't he hosted an awards show already? I loved Sasha Baron Cohen's "Guy Ritchie, we will miss you" joke,
Tina Fey's acceptance speech, and that the long overdue Kate Winslet won twice. And Mickey Rourke and Heath Ledger won! Too cool!

I love Ricky Gervais, so he was the highlight of the awards to me. I was pretty darn happy with the movie actors/actresses and "best" category
awards, but since I'm a huge fan of "The Office", I was disappointed that 30 Rock and Alec Baldwin won in the TV stuff, because I think that show
is inferior to The Office.
I loved Maggie G.'s dress, and I usually don't care. Also, Downey, Jr. rocks because he broke off an interview with the stupid talking heads on the red carpet to go wave to fans. You blows who you is.

Kate Winslet presents this Sunday. She won two globes last year. No Clive, though. Sad sad dad :(
A Culinary Review: The meal was a complete 'Kate Winslet' - that is visually appealing, very tasty and just the right amount of meat. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/katethegreat and KWFC |
